Waitangi21 P-Max (Mt Victoria) Sunday 7 June 2020

This "event" is a re-run of the first course of the 5-stage Waitangi21 rogaine in 2012. See event details. Originally 1 hour, the re-run was available in 1 and 2 hours, with a 1pt/min bonus for early clearing of the course, and a 10% bonus for darkness (before 6am or after 6pm). The course could be run at any time, with scoring via the MapRun app or self report.

As darkness fell Pat van Berkel was leading the 1-hour class results, and Greg/Nicole/Jack Maddigan the 2-hour class results. Note the results links give access to the tracks, too.

But under cover of darkness Hamish Laing and Aaran Whiteford demolished the 1-hour class, even before their 10% bonus was applied. We list here the results with the standard NZ lateness and the bonuses, which MapRun doesn't cater for. Results declared final at 1800 Monday The course remains open but runs won't be counted here. Enjoy!

QB Free Day 30 May to 1 June 2020

This "event" is an assembly of past P-Max events, re-run between 30 May and 1 June 2020. See event details.

First we have the leaders in each category. Then we have a table for accumulating results of those who are doing more than 1 course. Here we'll apply the claims and bonuses, and include teams who are self-reporting their results. There will be a lag in updating this table. And below that are direct links to the MapRun results, which are immediate but don't have these adjustments.

The event finished at midnight Monday. Results declared final at 1800 Tuesday The courses remain open but runs won't be counted here. Enjoy!

Best single result: Hamish Laing 520+10early+106dark =636 Sladden

Best three results: Hamish Laing 1688

Best six results: Hamish Laing 3128

Note Sunday 2000hrs: Wasn't sure what to do about Hamish's 2nd Tinakori run. First one ended due to light failure, and ordinarily that would be that. But there is no way we can stop (or detect) anyone doing an incognito "practice run" in this event so we have recognised his higher 2nd score. This is no ordinary rogaine - have you been studying your rivals' scores and route choices?
