Young OHV members have returned from Australia with enhanced skills, winning 4 of the 6 courses in today's OY at Waitarere.  Cooper Williams won Yellow, Emily Williams Orange. Jacob Williams Red Medium and Jake McLellan Red Long. Red Kiwi junior traveller Jakob Abernethy was second on Red Long, following his win at the previous OY. Presumably the white winner was a young person too making 5 out of 6. And the winner of the remaining course grew up in the Hutt Valley!

After some dismal weather in recent days the rain retreated to the hills and the sun made a brief appearance. 100 participants got a valuable practice ahead of the regional champs in 2 weeks.
