For some reason, during the thunderstorm that delayed the Oceania Long by 45 minutes, lots of aussies referred to "New Zealand weather"! But it didnt particularly suit the OHV contingent, with no placings on Saturday. Emily Williams W14 and Ted van Geldermalsen almost made it with 4ths; other single-digit placings came from Cameron Johns M18, Alexandra Riddle W21AS and Michael Wood M75.
The sun came out for Sunday's Oceania Sprint, and Ted returned to the podium with 3rd, but others had a day to forget, some even mispunching on the Australian National University campus. Alexandra was 2nd in a small W21A field, and Andrew Riddle had his best run of the carnival with 6th. Still, a challenging series of races against our larger neighbour, and especially valuable for juniors Emily, Dominic and Cameron. Full results on Australian Eventor.
