Emily Williams (St Orans) was the best performer at the NZ Secondary School Champs this weekend, with a big win in Y78G Long (she would have won JG who were on the same course) and 2nd place in the Y78G Sprint. But the overall performances of the 10-strong HVHS team secured third place against much bigger teams in the Top School award boys section. And the team of Nicholas McKenzie, Cameron Johns and Callum Cross placed 8th in the large SB field of the NZ SS Rogaine Champs.
