Emily Williams and Ted van Geldermalsen have won our first medals at the 2026 Oceania Champs today. The 13yo placed third in W14 in the Middle distance south of Canberra, while Ted van G was second in M70. Cameron Johns was also 5th in M18, and Dominic Holden 7th in M16. Update Sunday: Cameron's team was 2nd in the M18 relay with Cam 2nd on leg; Emily's team 3rd in W14 with Emily 5th on leg; and Dominic had a nightmare on the nightmare-green map. With 65's and 70's on the same course, Ted Van G's team was 2nd M70 with Ted 4th on leg. The championship continues next weekend with Schools Champs Tue-Thu.
