As with Tim in the recent world cup, Jake finished the Junior World Champs with a superb relay. Running second, he brought the team up from 24th to 16th, conceding  only 87 seconds to the lead. The team finished 20th. And Wellington's Rachel Baker gave the girls a fine start with her 14th. Both teams ended up 15th by country. The middle distance on the same terrain was tougher with 2-minute mistakes dropping 30+ places. Rachel was 39th, Jake 75th.
