Jake McLellan has made a good start to his Junior World Championship with 43= placing in the sprint. He, fellow kiwi Blake McKinnon and a Spanish runner were on the same second, 1:37 behind the winner. If you thought two kiwis on the same time was unusual, how about Australians Elye Dent and Cooper Horley equal second!! And OW's Rachel Baker scored NZ's top placing of 33rd. And Jake and Rachel ran 1st and 3rd legs of NZL1 in the Sprint relay where they finished 25th and 15th country. Jake made up 3 places on his leg.
