Onslow College is looking more like a serious rival this year (last year orienteering got listed as a winter sport). Nevertheless OHV and HVHS put in another strong CSW performance at Chilton St James and St Bernards on Thursday. Event two in the 2026 Sprint series was planned by Amber Riddle who with treasurer Alexandra Riddle went to school at Chilton.

Hutt orienteers won 7 (up from 6) of the 10 CSW grades, and again claimed 18 of the 30 possible placings. Winners were Lucy Wills in SG; Cameron Johns in SB (Hutt also 3rd, 6th, 7th, 8th); Miriam Water in IG (also 2nd, 4th); Jacob Williams in IB (also 2, 3 and 9);  Emily Williams in JG (also 2, 3, 6, 7); Joshua Holden in Y7/8B; and Cooper Williams in Primary Boys (Hutt also 2nd). Plus we went 2-3 in JB, 2nd in PG and 3rd in Y7/8G
