Sad to report the death of Bruce Henderson, former president of OHV, course planner, event organiser, development squad manager and many other roles. Bruce lived in Lower Hutt while teaching at Dyer St and Wadestown school, then moved to Te Horo Beach while teaching at Raumati. Before OHV he was president of North West OC, and after moving he joined Red Kiwis, and put his energies into cycling, walkways and trails advocacy in Kapiti. He was the "guardian" of the permanent orienteering course at Waikanae Park. Bruce was 79, the funeral is tomorrow Tuesday.
