Big Trig Tops Off 2025 - Update
Published Sun 07 Dec 2025
A great day on Rangituhi/Colonial Knob for the Big Trig rogaine today. Warm weather, blowy on the tops (what's new?) and the wild card - dense mist which made the farmland controls as hard as the bush! Provisionally Bruce Hughes and Aaron Lynch (The Colonial Knobs) led the provisional results with 1740pts. But checking the maths and the claims sank some of their points and put Dubious Knolls (Demelza Robinson/Luis Slyfield) in the lead with 1710. Where the hill are we? (Annelise Quigley/Cameron Johns, 1620) retains third place. This team is still in Year 11.
Last year's 3hr runners-up, Danger Children, took the shorter course with 890pts; thats Lachlan McKenzie, Simon Robinson and Will Vale. Last year's winners Boots and Smooch (Loiuse Wotton/Glen Stricot-Tarboton) and Dont Get Lost (Adam Allen/Stephen Bates) both scored 810; strictly speaking the earlier finishers should get the nod. User-calculated provisional results appeared first on the Wellington Afterwork Rogaine Facebook Group, checked results are now at https://bigtrig.ohv.org.nz/
